I am honoured by the contribution that your host, Ms. Chan Hon Goh, has made to the professional dance community within our province and indeed, our country.

Through artistic modes such as dance, the arts allow us to convey and reflect the diverse culture of Canada at home and abroad, assisting in the lively exchange of uniquely Canadian ideas and images. Ms. Hon Goh has been instrumental in developing and sharing these artistic and cultural linkages through events like the one tonight.
