我嘗試忘記舞伴的身份和他扮演的角色,并且渾然忘我地全情投入角色。如果不能和舞伴建立情感上的聯係,舞蹈就只純粹是工作。雖然你需要很嚴肅地發展技藝,能夠同時幽默地面對自己也同樣重要。


我最初的目標是成為一個技術上無瑕疵的優良舞蹈員。不過,我現在已經深入到舞蹈的精髓,並且越來越愛上了它的本質。我不斷發現新的個性,領略新的途徑將舞劇角色的原材料演化成有血有肉的人物 ……

雖然經過所有的重覆和預演,我們的舞蹈語言基本上保持不變。不過,芭蕾舞最引人入勝的地方是對人物的演譯;這為舞蹈帶來生命和活力。舞者的個性完全投入舞台上的演出,與角色融為一體。

個人的幸福為生命注入創造的活力、增進成熟並使你不枉此生。
